About Countryside Veterinary Large Animal Clinic
Hello, my name is Dr. Jeff Kerr, and welcome to Countryside Veterinary Large Animal Clinic! We are a dedicated large animal practice located in Wenatchee, Washington. Originally founded by Dr. Doug Funk in 1976, the clinic has been exclusively serving large animal clients across the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding areas since 1989.

Our Facility
Our facility was built in 1996 and includes both a large animal clinic and a small animal clinic, operating as two separate businesses under a condominium agreement. The large animal clinic spans approximately 3,000 square feet, with an additional 1,000 square feet of rentable space, bringing the total to about 4,000 square feet. The reception area is spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring colors and decor that are highly appreciated by our clients. The facility also includes a small kitchen and laundry area for convenience.
Well Equipped Treatment Area
The treatment area is well-equipped, featuring a large examination room, a stock, two indoor stalls, a surgery room, and various storage areas. Safety is a top priority, with LED lighting, animal-safe flooring, and ample water drainage throughout. The surgery room is designed for optimal safety, with padded walls, matted floors, and a surgical table embedded in the floor, ensuring a secure environment for induction, surgery, and recovery.
Our equipment is in excellent condition. Diagnostic tools include a Vet-Ray X-ray system, purchased in 2021, and a MyLab30 ultrasound system with multiple probes. We also have an extensive array of dental equipment, including three caps floats, multiple handpieces, and speculums, enabling high-quality dental care. Additionally, our surgical equipment is well-maintained and capable of handling all procedures performed at our facility.
The clinic operates two vehicles: 2005 and 2015 3/4-ton pickup trucks equipped with Bowie mobile units. Both are in very good working condition and serve the practice reliably.
